When you decide to sign your child up for swimming lessons, you are faced with two choices. You can choose from a group class, where they are with other students their own ages. You can also choose from private lessons, where they work on their own with the swimming instructor. You may consider private lessons, but the price may be what is holding you back. There are a lot of things that private lessons can offer your child that group lessons can’t. below are just three of the great benefits. Once you see three of the benefits that private lessons offer, you may just realize that they are the best choice.
You may think that a group swimming lesson might be a better choice and more affordable. But when you consider that much of the class time is spent out of the water for the students’ safety when the instructor is working with one of the students, you’re paying for a lot of time that isn’t even spent on your child. Your child will likely learn much faster in a private swimming lesson rather than in a group class because all of the time and focus of Swim Coach Dina is spent on your child.
When you choose private swimming lessons at Florida Swim Center, we will create a customized lesson plan for your child. Whether your child is neurotypical or is on the spectrum, whether they have physical limitations, or they have other issues, we can help your child to learn to swim. We create a lesson plan that is made for them and for their needs. We find that this is much better for students than having a teaching style that is used for any student, no matter what their personality or limitations.
Imagine you have gone to look at group classes. Chances are that there isn’t a lot of flexibility in them, right? Maybe they only have lessons Friday at 7pm. That’s fine for some students but what if you work those days and you have no way to get your child to their lesson? But when you choose private lessons, the lesson time is flexible so that you can schedule them when you want them to be. We want your child to be able to learn to swim, so we can work with your schedule to find a time that is going to work for everyone.
So, what do you think? Do you think that private lessons may be the way to go? If you want more information, feel free to give us a call and let us tell you what we can do for your child. We will answer your questions so that you can feel at ease with what we can offer you and your child. You may just realize that it’s the best choice for them and for you.
